Sealskinz expands from accessories to apparel with their new sustainable outdoor clothing range
For over 25 years, Sealskinz has been creating performance-led waterproof accessories that protect people from the elements. Known for gloves, hats and socks that perform in the toughest conditions, the brand has become a trusted companion for adventurers worldwide.
Now they’re branching out and we’re here for it.
Sealskinz launches its first full men’s and women’s outdoor clothing range - Worn by Weather
Whether hiking in the Lake District, camping beneath the stars or waking to the sound of the tide, every piece is engineered so you can stay outdoors longer. At the centre of the collection is the waterproof packable jacket, a protective shell that folds into itself for easy storage. Fleeces feature a unique waterproof chest pocket to keep essentials dry when the weather turns. T- shirts are made from organic cotton with UPF sun protection for all-day comfort. Trousers are water repellent, built to handle damp mornings and wet grass with ease. Prints inspired by the outdoors add colour and vibrancy to the collection, reflecting the landscapes and environments that inspire it.
Every item is designed to remove barriers between people and the landscapes they love. Made from recycled and responsibly sourced materials, the Worn by Weather collection is as mindful of its impact on the natural world as it is on the people who explore it.
Through a partnership with Pinwheel, each purchase supports environmental projects including greenhouse gas removal, rewilding in Scotland and seagrass conservation in the UK. These initiatives help to protect and restore the wild places that give meaning to the Sealskinz promise to stay outdoors longer.
“This collection is about enabling moments in the outdoors that stay with you for a lifetime,” says Ray Kelvin, Creative Director of Sealskinz. “It is about the feeling of sitting beside a campfire as the wind picks up, or crossing a ridge with clouds rolling in, and knowing you are ready for it. Every decision in its design was made so people can stay outdoors longer and feel more connected to the places they love.”
